Gremlins 3 and Ghostbusters 3 both in 3D?

A source close to the alleged project and Dreamworks studios stated that the third film of the franchise is underway in its early stages and that it will also be released in 3D. For those who are concerned, it will not be a remake in 3D, but instead an entirely new chapter in the Gremlins franchise.
